$70K in Beat Scholarships
Corus radio station 91.5 The Beat is awarding six full scholarships to listeners in the Kitchener/Waterloo region to attend the Recording Arts Management or Producing/Engineering Program at Harris Institute in Toronto. Industry Association Bursaries
Members of 14 participating industry associations are eligible for bursaries (50% tuition discounts) for the Ministry of Culture/OMDC supported weekend Professional Development Program (PDP). Thirteen intensive weekend courses on the music, audio and digital media industries are being offered from Feb. 28 to March 15. Schedule, faculty etc. at rock-enroll.ca.
$45K in Birthday Bursaries
In celebration of its 20th Birthday, Harris Institute is offering $500 Bursaries to students starting Recording Arts Management or the Producting/Engineering Program on March 23 or July 13, 2009. An additional $2,500 Bursary and Music Industry Professional Certification is awarded to students who complete both programs. More information at rock-enroll.net.
U of T Fine Arts Student Union bursaries Deadline: Feb. 27, 2009
All students enrolled in a major or specialist in Fine Art History or Visual Students are eligible for the FASU bursaries of $500, one for each program.
Applications are available for pick-up at the Faculty of Arts & Science Registrars office (1006-100 St. George St.) or at the Department of Art (6th Floor Sidney Smith Hall).
