“Goodnight, Amherst” - a new play written by James Fanizza
For one two nights this summer, Teatro Comunque will be producing an original new play called “Goodnight, Amherst” at The Walmer Centre Theatre in downtown Toronto.
Goodnight, Amherst is a beautiful play that centres on a family coming to terms with having a son in jail and the horrifying truth of his crime. This play challenges our ideals of love, justice, and the role of family through powerful storytelling and crisp production.
With the talent of recent York University theatre graduates and veteran Toronto actors, set designers, and stagehands, we will bring this new and exciting play to Toronto for the first time.
